Haven't posted in awhile. A couple of "avoiding work" sketches.

I've been diligent lately, trying to refresh that part of my brain that used to do this stuff with much greater confidence and ease than it currently does now. Frustrating, but fun.

I'm angry today. John Steinbeck had a lot to say on the creative process.

"The basic rule given us was simple and heartbreaking. A story to be effective had to convey something from the writer to the reader, and the power of its offering was the measure of its excellence. Outside of that, there were no rules."

Trying to work out a look for some submissions that I've been planning on doing for the past decade... one is pencil and paper, one is cintiq and sketchbook ver 2.

I've been working a lot lately. I just want to sleep. Hitting the bread lines in a week, trying to make as much money as I can. Here are some doodles while waiting on renders. It's on the back of Wubsy boards, which came through a bit in the scans. Looking forward to not working and drawing more. Shazam. Huzzah. Woot Woot.
